While 2021 proved to be a challenge for so many of us, the team at Step Up Financial has been proud to support our clients throughout this difficult year. Our ‘year in review’ shares some of our successes of 2021.

It’s been a big year for us, and we’re excited to hit the ground running in 2022.

Insurance success

At Step Up Financial, we firmly believe in the importance of personal insurance. Not only does the right kind of personal insurance protect you when the unexpected happens by ensuring that you can pay your bills and keep the roof over your head, it brings peace of mind knowing that your family will be taken care of.

We’re incredibly proud that our team was able to help a number of our clients protect their families by successfully claiming Total and Permanent Disability (TPD) and critical illness insurance in 2021. We have also assisted more than a dozen clients successfully claim income protection insurance.

Helping our clients during such a difficult time in their lives has been incredibly important and has reinforced our commitment to making sure all our clients are financially protected.

New technology

Making our services as accessible and easy to use as possible is extremely important to us. This past year we have introduced new technology to make it easier for our clients to access our services.

We have been able to adapt to the challenges of COVID-19 restrictions, lockdowns and associated border closures by introducing Docusign – a software that allows those clients who are unable to make it into the office to sign paperwork – and zoom-based client interviews. They worked so well we will now be making this service available to any clients who would prefer this over face-to-face meetings.

We are also utilising new capabilities in our client relationship management software to automate various advice activities, which reduces the time it takes us to offer and implement our services.

Growing team

We are very excited to welcome four new members to the Step Up Financial team in January 2022 – Ricky, Sanika, Subrajit and Chirag.

Ricky holds an MBA and has extensive experience managing his own small business. He will be working out of the Orange office,  managing our new team of client services professionals.

Sanika brings experience in the field of financial planning and marketing research analytics. She holds an MBA in Finance and Accounting and is currently completing her certificate in Financial Planning.

Subrajit holds a postgraduate diploma in management and has recently joined the financial services industry. He is excited about his new endeavour with Step Up Financial.

Chirag will be bringing a wealth of experience in the financial services industry to Step Up Financial. He is a certified research analyst and affiliated financial planner. He firmly believes in honest and transparent relationships with clients, so that he can help them meet their goals as much as possible.

Sanika, Subrajit and Chirag will be joining our client services team so that we can continue to support our clients in the best way we can.
